A prominent ‘mid-Acts’ preacher teaches that when the devil appeared to Eve in the garden of Eden, he looked like a handsome man, even though the Bible described a serpent.
Could anyone show me the VERSE that teaches that?

If not, don’t believe the ‘mid-Acts-ers’.
Instead, trust the word of GOD.
