‘Mid-Acts-ers’ teach that just the saints who have been saved by PAUL’s ministry will be raptured up to heaven with an angelic escort some years BEFORE the 70th week of Daniel begins .... where they will be JUDGED for rewards and GIVEN THEIR ASSIGNMENTS for service in the heavenly places for eternity.
Could anyone show me the verse that teaches that?
I find no verse that teaches anything of the sort.
If so, please e-mail magnifiedword@aol.com.
If not, don’t believe the ‘mid-Acts-ers’.
Instead, trust the word of GOD.
Rom 4:3-a For what saith the scripture?
In the context of ‘the judgment seat of Christ’, before Whom we ALL will stand .... there is NO MENTION of WHEN the event will occur. However, God (through PAUL) immediately quoted the OLD testament promise from Isa 45:23, which indicates EVERY PERSON, not just believers, will appear there (see Isa 45:22-25):
Rom 14:8-12 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
The one other verse with the specific phrase ‘the judgment seat of Christ’ (2 Cor 5:10), again, gave NO CLUE in the context for the TIMING of its occurance.
‘Mid-Acts-ers’ need to change their doctrine about Christ’s judgment seat.
This is David Dowell, saying, "Think about it!"
